Volga Lake

Volga Lake is located in northeast Iowa, approximately 5 miles northwest of Fayette. The lake is part of the Volga River State Recreation Area, which spans 5,819 acres and offers a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities including camping, hiking, fishing, and boating. Volga Lake covers approximately 150 acres and has a maximum depth of 40 feet. Fish species found in the lake include crappie, bluegill, bass, and catfish. The lake also has a public beach and picnic areas for visitors to enjoy.
